About us

A wallpaper crew that starts with the surface

PrimeWall Interior Solutions is based in Fort Lauderdale and works throughout the neighboring Broward cities. Homes here range from mid-century ranch houses with plaster over block to newer condos with thin drywall partitions, and each one asks for a slightly different approach. Before quoting, we look at what is on the wall now, whether old adhesive or glossy paint needs attention, and how the room is used. A powder room near the beach, a sunny Florida room and a bedroom that stays cool all year will not get the same paper recommendation. We explain the prep, help you think through pattern placement, and plan the work so the house is closed up and the air conditioning is running while everything dries. The goal is a finished wall you stop noticing as a project and start enjoying as part of the room, with seams that stay down through the long humid summers.

More about how we work

What to expect

How a visit goes

  1. Honest prep advice

If a wall needs skim coating, crack repair or a moisture check first, we tell you before the job starts, not halfway through it.

  2. Pattern planned on purpose

We decide where the first strip lands so the motif centers on a focal point and the least visible seam ends up in a corner.

  3. Climate-aware materials

We help you pick papers and adhesives suited to humid bathrooms, salty coastal air and rooms where the AC cycles all day.

FAQ

Common questions

Don’t see your question? Call (561) 823-3201 and we’ll talk it through.

Can wallpaper hold up in a humid Fort Lauderdale home?

Yes, when the wall is sealed and primed correctly and the paper suits the room. We favor vinyl-coated or washable papers for bathrooms and laundry areas and keep delicate natural fibers in drier spaces.

Do you remove old wallpaper before installing new?

In most cases, yes. Hanging over old paper risks bubbles and seam lifting, so we strip it, wash off leftover adhesive and repair any torn drywall facing before priming.

Will you install paper I already bought?

Of course. We will check the rolls for matching batch numbers, confirm there is enough for the pattern repeat, and let you know early if more is needed.

How long does a typical room take?

A single accent wall can often be finished in a day, while a full room with prep work may take a few days. Repairs and drying time for primer are the biggest factors.

Do you work in condos and high-rise buildings?

Yes. We follow building rules on work hours, elevator use and floor protection, and we can coordinate with your association if paperwork is required.

Is peel and stick wallpaper a good idea here?

It can be, especially for renters or short-term looks. It needs a smooth, clean, fully cured painted wall, and in very humid rooms a traditional pasted paper usually stays put better.

Do you handle commercial spaces?

We do. Offices, salons, restaurants and lobbies often use heavier Type II vinyl wallcovering, which we install after hours if that keeps your business running smoothly.
